gorgeous grounds, incredible hot springs, breathtaking volcano views
Rooms feel dated, needing a refresh!!! Uninspiring landscape lighting in walkways and rooms made evening strolls awkward!!! Dining prices are absurd for the average quality received, leaving much to be desired!!!

Staying here offered an incredible view of Volcan Arenal, especially from our second-level room, which was both spacious and comfortable. The food was top-tier, with particularly impressive dishes like shrimp and ceviche. However, the coffee machine and iron in the room weren't working initially, though both were swiftly replaced by the friendly staff. Getting to town without a car was a bit inconvenient, as the hotel is somewhat isolated.

Spacious rooms with views of the volcano and an in-room jacuzzi. The themed dinner nights were enjoyable. The pool area could be better maintained. Service at the restaurant was slow, especially during happy hour.

The stunning views stole our hearts
Waking up to stunning volcano views made our mornings magical. The thermal springs were a highlight of relaxation after adventurous days exploring La Fortuna.
A few issues with the dining experience dampened our stay. The service was slow at times, and the menu options felt limited for dinner, which was disappointing.

Spectacular views of the volcano.
The manager was dismissive of my safety concerns. I found myself stranded after a hike because the hotel failed to pick me up as promised. Their lack of communication and concern was extremely disappointing. I had to rely on strangers for help in a vulnerable situation.

Staying at Arenal Kioro Suites & Spa felt like a mix of luxury and nature. The view of Arenal volcano from my Kioro Suite was breathtaking. Each morning, I enjoyed a robust breakfast with a good variety of local flavors. The on-site thermal pools were such a treat. I often soaked after long days of exploring. The grounds are beautifully landscaped, with vibrant flowers and plenty of wildlife. The staff were incredibly attentive, especially when accommodating my elderly parents. they really went the extra mile. However, the other dining options on-site felt overpriced and didn’t match the quality I hoped for. I also felt that the air conditioning in the room could have been turned on prior to our arrival. the room was warmer than comfortable when we checked in. Minor improvements could elevate this experience from good to great.

My recent stay at Arenal Kioro Suites & Spa was excellent. The beautiful landscaping and breathtaking views of the volcano from the room were remarkable. The staff went above and beyond to ensure comfort, particularly for my elderly parents. The included breakfast was delicious and robust. The on-site thermal pools provided a relaxing experience. The spa services were also top-notch, making for a truly refreshing getaway.
The other dining options were overpriced and not as good.

It was just a solid selection for a stopover in La Fortuna with reasonable value. The sky-high ceilings in the room felt more like an apartment than a hotel. Definitely consider paying a bit more for better options nearby.
